By combining up-to-date DCP additives in the positive plates and special AGM separators, Westinghouse created an innovative range of WD batteries. This range features 30% higher cyclic life with 5 to 10 years of floating life when compared with the standard duration range. This series is highly suited to very unreliable power applications requiring the batteries to provide extra cyclic life performance such as outdoor applications, small RE systems and electric vehicles.

Flooded Tubular Battery
Summary
The OPzS battery is a traditional tubular plate flooded battery which offers 20 years design life with a cycle life of 2200 cycles at 80% DOD at 25°C according to DIN / EN 60 254-2 (IEC 254-1). This range is most suited for all standby power applications that require the highest levels of reliability and security.
